3. The book, Never Work harder than Your Students, clearly stated in chapter 1 that a component to student success, in life, is community involvement. Shows the students that we practice what we preach. It is aligned with our SLC’s proposed mission statement.

4. Proposed Mission Statement Information Technology’s mission is to empower students to meet high academic standards, become critical thinkers, and life-long learners. We also aim to partner with every student to development their own self-reliance and self-worth that will enable them to thrive in any college, university, or post secondary environment. We will facilitate this by providing a rigorous curriculum that engages students in a technology rich environment, as well as community involvement.

6. Split all students into groups lead by teachers and seniors together. What is it Why When Logistics Budget Sponsors Each group will go out to their own worksite for the day. All students report to homeroom for attendance to be taken. At 8:30 a.m. all students report to auditorium for bus boarding. Lunches sent with each group.

7. Students leave sites by 2:30 p.m. to be back to school for bus dismissal. What is it Why When Logistics Budget Sponsors Late students who arrive after we are gone will need to be place in another SLC if possible for the day with a packet of work to do. Students would engage in team builders. Students would do jobs that could be completed prior to them boarding buses to go home. Reach out to local non-profit organizations that could use some extra hands.
