2. Introduction Hard as a rock, hot, cold, fast. Being a Mechanic is dealing with all that. The cars are hot, fast, cold, and definitely hard. I love old muscle cars, the roar of a fresh engine is great. It is projected that from 2008-2018 job openings will rise five percent. My uncle owns his own shop and all his friends build there own cars. I want to be able to do that. I want to be able to put a motor together with no faults. Also I would like to be able to put together every part together. I’m going to be researching how many years of college you need to be a professional mechanic. I’m also going to research what the work environment is like.
