art in the National Trust park
As well as sketching, I used my phone to
comment on and record natural patterns
for my art class.

Patterns in the river
This pattern was hard to sketch because
it was always moving! I like it because
there are lots of shapes and detail.

River bolin from a edge
The pattern in the water changes here
because of the shape of the river bank.

Delicate branches
The branches on this tree were thin and
fragile, and a bit hard to draw them all. I
collected this photo to remind me of the
many shapes.

Dizzy heights!
I was a bit scared up here because it was
so steep! Also the wind was blowing,
which is why the trees look a bit blurred.
Might try to recreate this effect in my
art lesson..

Perspective
This bridge was great to sketch because I
could practice making a perspective
with diagonal lines. I will finish this
observation in the classroom.
