3. ONLY “ONE” NEW TESTAMENT “BAPTISM…
Only one commanded by Christ for
salvation.
“14Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as
they sat at meat, and upbraided them with
their unbelief and hardness of heart,
because they believed not them which had
seen him after he was risen.
15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the
world, and preach the gospel to every
creature.
16He that believeth and is baptized shall be

LUKE 1: Son of temple priest Zacharias
and Elizabeth. Both faithful to God in the

Angel promises son whose name – John.
Virgin birth of Jesus – Mary and Joseph.
John: “77To give knowledge of salvation
unto his people by the remission of their

7. JACKSON’S DISREGARD FOR COVENANTS
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John belong to
the Old not the New Testament – therefore
Jackson disregards the doctrinal
differences in the two covenants!
Jackson attempts to add together the
doctrine of both the Old and New
Testaments! ERROR!
“4Christ is become of no effect unto you,
whosoever of you are justified by the law;
ye are fallen from grace” (Galatians 5:4).

8. JACKSON’S DISREGARD FOR COVENANTS
Jackson and other “traditionalists”
disregard differences in doctrine in the
covenants!
One cannot understand the Bible if they
do not understand the difference between
the Old and New Testaments!
One cannot scripturally teach the Bible if
they
do not understand the difference

9. JOHN WAS NOT NT SAVIOUR!
God bound John’s work to OT Israel!

the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of
the Lord to prepare his ways;
77To give knowledge of salvation unto his people
by the remission of their sins,
78Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby
the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
79To give light to them that sit in darkness and in
the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the
way of peace. 80And the child grew, and waxed
strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day
of his showing unto Israel” (Luke 1:76-80).

15. IN MMLJ DID JOHN THE BAPTIST HAVE THE
“KEYS” TO THE NEW TESTAMENT KINGDOM?
NO! THE KEYS TO THE NEW TESTAMENT KINGDOM OF
CHRIST WERE PROMISED ONLY TO PETER – AFTER
JOHN’S DEATH!!!
“17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art
thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not
revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon
this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell
shall not prevail against it.

heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall
be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose
on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:17-19).

16. WHY DID GOD SEND JOHN TO OT ISRAEL?
John’s mission was to”restore” back to faithfulness
to God and the law those Jews who had become
unfaithful to their covenant with Jehovah.
“1In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in
the wilderness of Judaea, 2And saying, Repent ye: for
the kingdom of heaven is at hand…5Then went out to
him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region
round about Jordan, 6And were baptized of him in
Jordan, confessing their sins. 7But when he saw
many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his
baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers,
who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to
come? 8Bring forth therefore fruits meet for
repentance” (Matthew 3:1-2, 5-8).

17. WHY DID GOD SEND JOHN TO ISRAEL?
“Restoration” - forgiveness – “remission of sins”
John’s baptism was for “remission” of Jewish
sins – “salvation” under the OT law of Moses in
Israel!
“77To give knowledge of salvation unto his people
by the remission of their sins, 78Through the
tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring
from on high hath visited us, 79To give light to
them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of

69And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house
of his servant David;
70As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have
been since the world began:
71That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the
hand of all that hate us;
72To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to
remember his holy covenant;
73The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
74That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of
the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
75In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of
our life.

23. JACKSON ARGUES…
John’s OT baptism in MMLJ/BC “prepared a
people for the Lord.”
Why was Jesus baptized of John?
“13Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to
Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14But John forbad him, saying, I have need
to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to
me?
15And Jesus answering said unto
him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it
becometh us to fulfil all righteousness”

24. JACKSON ARGUES…
“Where is the evidence that anyone who had been

“45Then opened he their understanding, that they might
understand the scriptures,
46And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it
behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the
third day:
47And that repentance and remission of sins should be
preached in his name among all nations, beginning at
Jerusalem.
48And ye are witnesses of these things.
49And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon
you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be

25. PETER SAYS APOSTLES BAPTIZED…
Christ commanded all to – be baptized…
”14Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and
upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because
they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the
gospel to every creature.
16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that
believeth not shall be damned.
17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall
they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it
shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover.
19So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up
into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working
with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen”

the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the
way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest
receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy
