WARMER
T will enter the classroom and greets Ss. She will stick a world map on the bb and will
ask Ss what they can see. She will divide the class into two groups to play a game. Both
groups will be given a map each, and they will have 1 minute to write as many country
names as they can in English. The group that has more countries wins.
Time allotted: 10 minutes approx.
WEB
T will divide Ss into pairs to work on the webquest. She will present the introduction
and the task, and will invite Ss to start working on the Process section.
Ss will have 20 minutes to create the chart and insert the facts of 4 different
destinations.
Time allotted: 25 minutes approx.
WHAT NEXT
T will invite Ss to discuss in groups how they felt this first time. She will also ask them
to tell their partners the places they have visited, since each pair will start with a
different destination.

WARMER
T will enter the classroom and greets Ss. The whole class will be divided into two
groups in order to play a memo-game. T will stick pictures of the countries discussed
during the first part of the webquest on the left side of the B, and some facts all mixed
up on the right side of the B. Ss will be asked to match the countries with their
corresponding information. The group that has more correct guesses is the winner.
Time allotted: 10 minutes approx.
WEB
Ss will be working on the 4 last destinations in the webquest. They will have to
continue completing the chart with facts and they will be doing the special mission for
each place.
Time allotted: 25 minutes approx.
WHAT NEXT
Ss will be given 5 minutes to carry out the Evaluation part of the webquest on a sheet
of paper. If Ss do not finish, they will be asked to finish it for the following class.

WARMER
T will enter the classroom and greets Ss. She will write the word PPP on the board and
will ask Ss what they think it means. The aim of this activity is to elicit the phrase
“power Point Presentation” and she will ask Ss if they know how to use it.
Time allotted: 5 minutes approx.
WEB
Ss will be working on the FINAL TASK. T will explain them what this final task consists
of: they will be in charge in choosing the destination they liked the most and they will
have to prepare a PPP to show the rest of their classmates the following class.
Time allotted: 30 minutes approx.
WHAT NEXT
T will devote the last minutes of the lesson to ask Ss if they liked the activity, and if
they would like to work on it again some other time. She will encourage them to
express their feelings about the experience and to tell her the easiest and most
difficult aspects of the task. Finally, she will congratulate them on their overall work.
