2. 1 - Learn to code
Software is eating the world. More and more major businesses
and industries are being run on software and delivered as online
services — movie, music, books, educational, health care,
financial, national defence, oil and even agricultural companies,
are powered by software.
Learning to code is a must for the next decades. And even if
you'll not become a programer, you surely will work with one. You
need to understand programming.
3. 2 - Develop your
communication skills
We talk and write every-single-day. Talking and writing are our
best tools to transmit our ideas to other people. We need this to
show our coworkers why our idea matters, to develop an healthy
relationship with our partner, and to educate our kids.
Communicating well is more fundamental than the majority of
the knowledge you get from college.
So strive to become better at it, by practicing. Write a book, a
blog, or a diary. Make public presentations and learn with the
world's best communicators. This will pay a lot in the future.
4. 3- Try to have a fun but
frugal lifestyle
Focus on spending money in what you really need, in your
investments, and in experiences instead of objects. You'll be
richer by simply doing this - you'll have more money to spend on
what really matters, and you'll notice that you don't need so much
of it as you thought before.
Also, by doing it you'll develop good habits that people who are
big money spenders don't have - the last tend to have problems
later in life, when they lack the good sources of income they once
had.
“There are two ways to make a man richer: Give
him more money or curb his desires.”
Jean-Jacques Rousseau
