At Château Élan, we host over 400 tournaments and corporate events annually. Our Legends course is the former home of The Sarazen World Open. For four
consecutive years, The Château course hosted the LPGA Club and Teaching Professionals Tournament. Major corporations have chosen us to host their events
because of our outstanding Inn and Conference Center. If you have 20 or 400 to play, Château Élan can accommodate you with our 63 holes of Championship golf.
Château Élan’s Golf Club catering team can also help you design any menu from an outdoor barbecue to a box lunch to a sumptuous banquet. The club’s climate-
controlled pavilion lends itself beautifully to awards presentations, luncheons, cocktail parties or elegant banquets for groups large or small.
HOURS, DRESS CODE AND TEE TIMES
The Château and The Woodlands courses are open to the public daily from 7:30 AM - sunset. Proper golf attire is required; shirts with a collar and no jeans
please. We are a soft spike Golf Club. Tee times may be made seven days in advance for public play and 120 days in advance for resort guests. Groups should

GOLF INSTRUCTION AT CHATEAU ELAN
Golf Instruction at Château Élan is fun, affordable and enjoyable for the finest learning experience in golf. From beginner to expert, the Château Élan Golf Club

THE CH˜TEAU COURSE
This beautiful 7,030 yard, par 71 Château course, with contoured fairways, three lakes and two creeks, opened in July 1989. Designed by Denis Griffiths, the
championship layout was instantly recognized as one of the top courses in Georgia. Water comes into play on ten of the 18 holes while 87 bunkers lend challenge
and character to the lush fairways and bent grass greens.

THE LEGENDS COURSE
The Legends, a private members only golf club, is the masterpiece of celebrated golf greats Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead and Kathy Whitworth. Each selected six
of their favorite holes from around the world, then crafted each hole with its unique shotmaking requirement onto The Legends layout. Golf enthusiasts will be
excited to find such recognizable holes as the 12th and 13th at Augusta National, The Postage Stamp at Royal Troon, and the 18th at Merion. The Legends has

EXECUTIVE WALKING COURSE; 9 HOLE / PAR 3
This stimulating course provides a perfect venue for the golf enthusiast when time does not allow a full round. Located behind the Inn, the attractive layout
features beautifully landscaped holes, strategically placed bunkers and small bent grass greens. Holes vary in length from under 100 yards to more that 200 yards
making it ideal also for beginners and young children. 8:00 AM - sunset. Rates are $18.00 Per Person for 9 holes; $5.00 for additional 9 holes. Pull carts are

NITE GOLF
If you can’t make it to the links before the sun goes down, take part in Château Élan’s night golf for groups. The Par 3 course hosts the evening attraction and
marks the holes with lighted flagsticks, glow markers and tiki torches. Each golfer is provided with glow balls, clubs and flashlights. Starting times are currently
7:30 PM and later depending on the time of year, but vary with actual darkness. Please allow approximately two hours for play. Rates begin at $35.00 per person,
minimum charge of $750.00. Prizes, Awards, Beverages & Snacks are available at an additional cost.

The Château Élan Tennis Center, designed by legend Stan Smith, offers play on four hard and two clay courts, lighted for night play, plus a stadium court with
spectator grandstands. The Center’s beautiful layout is set amidst vistas of natural beauty and the vineyards. Our professional tennis staff easily arranges group
outings, tournaments, clinics and instruction for players of all skill levels. The Tennis Center provides ball machines, racquet rentals and the Pro Shop is stocked
with the latest in apparel and equipment.
Proper attire is required on and off the courts. The staff requests players wear regulation tennis shoes at all times to ensure safety on the courts. Running and
basketball shoes, cutoffs, men’s tank tops and bathing suits are inappropriate.

Horseback Riding

SPA APPOINTMENTS
We want to ensure your Spa experience is truly memorable. A six-week notice is recommended for weekend appointments to fulfill your group needs and goals.
Visitors to the Spa, not scheduling services, who wish to enjoy the facilities (locker room, co-ed whirlpool, indoor resistance pool, steam room, sauna, and fitness
classes) will be charged $25.00 per day, Monday – Thursday, and $35.00 per day, Friday – Sunday.
CHECK-IN POLICY
Please check in at the Spa concierge desk 30 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. If you are using a gift certificate, please bring it with you. It is
important that you present it when registering. Late arrivals may not receive an extension of scheduled treatments, so as not to inconvenience other Spa guests.

27. WINERY
The Winery, located inside a magnificent Château, is designed in the style of a 16th century French royal retreat. Framed by 200 acres of vineyards, the Winery
produces more than 20 different vintages, which have been awarded more than 275 national and international awards. Inside the Château are two restaurants,
conference facilities, an art gallery, wine market, gift shop, cask room and in the expansive cellars, a full-production winery, the largest producer of premium and
varietal wines in Georgia.
WINEMAKING
At Château Élan, winemaking is art and science, tradition and modern technology. Our winemakers have come from generations of French, German,
American, and now Austrailian wine philosophies, blending the best of the old ways with the best of the new. The grapes are picked by hand to ensure that only the
finest fruit is chosen. White grapes are pressed as a whole cluster. The juice is then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Red grapes are de-
stemmed and crushed. The skins, pulp and juice are then fermented in stainless steel tanks. Pressing of the red wine occurs after fermentation. Wines are aged in a
variety of French and American oak barrels. The Château also houses the bottling, labeling and distribution of the wines.
VINEYARDS
The vineyards are planted with Vitis Vinifera varieties, French-American hybrids, and native Southern American grapes. The grape varieties include Chardonnay,
Riesling, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin Seyval Blanc, and Muscadine. Due to the humid climate in Georgia, Château Élan devel-
oped innovative methods for premium grape growing, such as keeping the vines high off the ground and further apart allowing for better ventilation. This attention
to detail has literally born fruit. The harvest is more abundant each year.

Open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., the Wine Market sells Château Élan wines along with a unique blend of mer-
chandise including: wine related items, tableware, gift & decorative items, gourmet foods, children’s items, clothing, and seasonal items.

WINERY TOURS
Château Élan offers winery tours and tastings daily (except Christmas). Tours include a video presentation, tour with a knowledgeable guide of our
winemaking facility; cask room and bottling area, concluding with a wine tasting. Tours last approximately 45 minutes. All guests are welcome to tour our winery;
guests younger than 21 are restricted from the wine tasting. Please bring a driver’s license or other proper identification. Private and group tours with tastings are
available by request and must be prearranged. Fees apply and a 50% cancellation fee must be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given to cancel a private tour.
DELUXE TOUR: (advanced booking required)
The tour begins in the Winery Retail area, where the group is met, and welcomed by one of our knowledgeable tour guides, who will accompany the group through-
out their tour. The tour guide will take the group to a vast balcony overlooking the production area of the winery. Here a brief overview is given of Château Élan’s
history, followed by winery specific information regarding acreage and the type of grapes we grow. After a wine making process explanation, including the difference
between white and red wine, the group is escorted down into the Cask room, where the aging process is explained. The group then sees the bottling line, before
returning upstairs to the tasting room. The tour is concluded with a tasting of four wines. The tour last approximately 45 minutes. Maximum of 50 people.
EXECUTIVE TOUR: (advanced booking required)
The executive tour follows the same pattern as the deluxe tour described above. On this personalized tour, your group is escorted by one of our Executive Tour
Guides. The executive tour is very detailed, providing extensive information regarding the winery itself, the process of making red and white wine, the aging process
in oak barrels, and the final bottling and labeling process. The tour concludes in the Tasting Room for a wine tasting with five to seven Château Élan wines, inter-
national fruit and cheese display with assorted crackers. The tour lasts approximately one hour with ample time for questions. Maximum of 40 people.
MEET THE WINEMAKER: (advanced booking required)
Our Winemaker conducts his fascinating in-depth Winery Tour with an extensive wine tasting including an international fruit and cheese display with assorted
crackers. At your request, a tour can be customized to your group’s needs, with discussion varying from growing grapes to food and wine pairings. Weather permit-
ting an outdoor tour is possible. Time will vary, but approximately two hours should be allowed. Minimum charge of $500.00 plus tax.

33. TRANSPORTATION
It is the desire of the Château Élan Transportation Department to provide seamless and efficient service beginning with direct service to and from Atlanta’s Harts-
field International Airport. Our on-site transportation manager and support staff are at your service throughout your stay, beginning with the arrival manifest and
continuing through departure notices delivered to each room the night before departure. As an on-site service, you and your guest are assured your transportation
needs are fulfilled and based on the same quality standards used to guarantee an exceptional stay at the hotel.
We control and dispatch the daily manifest monitoring airline flight numbers to ensure that even late flights are still met. All guests are greeted inside the airport
at the Business Traveler Services Center; guests do not have to go outside looking for their transportation.
The Business Traveler Services Center is conveniently located in the Car Rental Corridor between the North and South Baggage Claim areas. (Directly across
from the National Car Rental Counter). After your plane lands, simply follow the signs to the North Baggage claim and check-in at the Business Traveler Services
Center prior to retrieving your luggage.
Transportation can be charged to your master bill or to individual room accounts. A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or full charges will apply. “No
Shows” without notice will be charged the full rate. Guests making changes to flight schedules are asked to immediately notify the Transportation Department to
ensure availability.
DEPARTURE INFORMATION
Prior to departure from Château Élan we recommend that guests make transportation reservations 48 hours in advance and plan on leaving for the airport at least 2 hours prior to
