KLANDHUVAL CIVIL ENGINEERS was established for the purposes of providing the commercial site development
community with Principal focused civil engineering services. We are not only attentive to the technology
of engineering; but understanding the vision to create a more meaningful place to work and live.
At KLANDHUVAL, we are dedicated to our clients’ success and strive to be integrally involved with the
vision of each project; turning it into reality. We understand the complexity of commercial development
and emphasize an increased communication with the development team. We pride ourselves in being more
than just Principals of the firm, but also project managers and project engineers of each and every
project; focused on experience, dedication and service.
Founders, Leslie Kland, P.E. and Timothy A. Huval, P.E. spent their careers concentrating in commercial
site development projects; from one acre in-fill to large scale mixed use. We specialize in creating
winning retail, office, warehouse, hospitality and multi-family projects in multiple jurisdictions throughout
the southwest. Our past experience in commercial development has been as diverse as it has been
challenging; successfully completing projects in flood plains, extreme hillside conditions, in-fill projects,
and downtown development.

Principal
Ms. Kland has over 17 years of civil engineering experience
throughout Arizona and California. Her experience covers
private and public land development experience in site de-
velopment engineering. Leslie’s career has focused on de-
velopment in retail, warehouse, municipal, parks, schools,
