Bastille Day (14th July) is French most
importan national festival. The French
people remember the end of the
French Revolution. In the morning,
there is a large military parade on
the Champ of Mars in Paris. The
French president opens the parade.
Many people eat with their family
and their best friends a special food
in a restauran or a festive picnic in
the park. At night, there are fireworks
and people drink wine and run
through the streets. People wear
clothes or face paint with the French
flag colours.
