a quick demonstration of some ways to use a visualiser in the classroom

2. A visualiser is a camera on a flexible arm. Place anything below the camera

3. .. And it will then be displayed on your interactive whiteboard for the whole class to see.

4. Very small objects can be displayed. Removes the need to crowd around the demo area.

5. Use the IWB pens to annotate over the top of the displayed image. Add labels and other Information.

6. Can be used to display text. Removes need for photocopying. Display student work – exam questions etc

7. Demonstrate practical work. Could even capture as a video.

8. Dissections – hearts, kidneys, flowers etc

9. Can zoom in very close to show fine detail.

10. Use IWB camera tool to capture and bring into IWB software can then add more labels and annotations

11. Left Ventricle Right Ventricle Right Atrium Left Atrium Could even convert labels into text and form the basis of a “ drag and drop” labelling Activity.
