Website marketing strategies are becoming the favourite strategies for online marketers across
the globe. The truth is it is not so much about the marketing and more about the selling. I
know because I market online too.
To be in a position to sell products in the first place you need to get found, then traffic. The
final result will then be a flood of clients or perhaps even sales
So 3 steps to get you going:
1. Research Your Keywords
This is still something many people miss out on. Remember Google wants to connect you with
your customers.Your customers open their PC or laptop and start searching using keywords
that often depict the state they are in!
Head over to the Google keyword tool it is a great first start.Think of your “root” keyword and
place that in the search box. If you are a solicitor just add in that word. This will then provide
you with a list of terms to stimulate your imagination.

the image it will be larger on your screen.
Then choose one of the keywords it delivers. Next add that in and Google will kleep drilling
down for you. This will unearth nuggets for you to use. The next question is where you use
them.

There is much debate about this and yet our experience is add your keywords into 3 key places
and Google will recognize and reward you for it. You could even go the whole hog and get an
exact match domain, to the keyword you want to rank for.
The goal remember is to dominate the search engines particularly page one for your chosen
keyword. They need to be in your title, your description and your keywords. If you have a blog
this is made really easy using a plug-in called the all in one SEO pack.
So what next?
3. Build Links
Not particularly sexy I know and yet it works. The more links you have that “depict” what you
do the better. For instance you need to build links around the keywords you want to rank for.
The techie term for this is anchor text. So lets say you are a solicitor in London. Ideally you
want to come close to the top of page one Google if people search on this keyword or term.
The way to do it is have plenty of links pointing to your site with that keyword or anchor text
included.
If you use these 3 strategies on your website your website marketing strategies are almost
taken care of. It is just a case of rinse and repeat and more of it
The truth is not everybody still in 2011 does this. Probably because they don’t appreciate the
value.
