3. If we would inform the households about waste segregation and
provide them with bags for dry waste and for wet waste; our
society would be encouraged to permanently segregate its waste.

8. "DO"

9.  When waste is not segregated properly it may
eventually release harmful gases such as methane,
upon decomposing. This leads to climate change,
greenhouse effect and global warming.
 Also, many materials that may be recyclable are lost
when waste is not segregated because it all just goes
to the dumping yards. Once it is mixed it is often not
possible to then segregate all the dry waste from the
wet waste.
