1. Don’t hand-write anything on your CV
2. Don’t include reference letters and other credentialing documents unless

6. Don’t forget to mention if you are BE or BC
7. Don’t exclude your visa status information

• Explain interest in the geographic location of the opportunity
• Limit to one page, two at the most
• Tailor to each job opening
• Don’t write “Dear Sir” or “To Whom It May Concern”

• Don’t be pressured to make a decision before you are ready
• Don’t start negotiating until you’re ready to accept an offer

Don’t exclude your visa status information 8. Don’t omit your contact info (address, email, phone) 9. Don’t forget to tailor your objective to the specific position you’re applying to 10.
