3. What is RefWorks?
RefWorks is a Web Based Bibliographic Management
Software and generates formatted reference lists and/or
bibliographies.
With RefWorks you can:
Import references from online databases
Organize references into various topic folders
Insert references in various citation style formats, including
Harvard into your research paper
5. Creating a new account
To create a new account,
click “Sign Up for a New
Account”
Fill in the required
information and click
“Next”
Click “Create
Account”
6. Creating a new folder
Click here to create a
new folder
Name the folder
7. Add a new reference
Click “References” Select the applicable
and select “Add New” referencing style and reference
type and add the required
information on the fields
8. Importing References
Select “Journals” and
enter your keywords in
the boxes and click
“Search”
9. Retrieved 22392
results, browse and
select relevant articles
Add the selected items
Click “Marked lists” to to the marked list by
view the selected clicking “Go” tab.

Select the references
by clicking “All in list”
and select your folder
Click “View Last
Imported Folder”

Select “Advanced
Search”
Select “Any Field” and enter your
keywords in the boxes and click
“Search”
