2. Sarah loves the Pratt guest cottage. She looks forward to spending time here. Sarah is a loner who thrives on frequent isolation.
3. Sarah sits in the cozy chair in the guest cottage and studies to increase her cooking skills. She has the natural cook trait, so learning new recipes will be easy for her.
5. Candy searches the house for the temporary maid. Her house has not been cleaned properly since he has arrived.
6. Candy finds him hiding out in the downstairs bathroom. She notes that he is just standing around and the toilet has still not been cleaned.
7. Candy lets him know that she will no longer be needing his services. He actually looks offended by this. “Why, what’s the problem?” He demands.
8. Candy does not like his tone. “First off, you were only a temporary hire and two, the house has not been cleaned properly since I hired you,” she tells him. This makes him angry.
9. He tries to explain why he has not been able to get the house as clean as possible, but Candy is not interested in his excuses.
10. “Here is your pay. I no longer need your services. You are dismissed.” Candy says in her practiced executive voice. No one ever argues with her when she uses her no-nonsense tone.
12. Candy goes upstairs to refresh herself and prepare for her business meeting. One of friends call and asks if Candy would like to hang out since it’s her day off.
13. Candy has to turn him down. This work-a-holic never has a day off.
15. She had convinced herself that she would be an outcast forever, but today, a boy actually approached her in a friendly way. Maybe things can change for her.
16. At the same time, Spencer arrives home and starts on his homework. He is a few days away from graduating and wants to get high grades on his finals. Grades are the key to him securing a high paying job.
