News from the Friends
The Friends will be hosting a post-holiday week-long book sale, January 3–10. This
is a perfect time to pick up some good reads to chase away the winter blues and a
place to donate your gently used books, games, puzzles, CDs, videos, and DVDs as
they are all well received. We offer a well-stocked ongoing used book sale located
opposite the library’s Circulation desk.
The Friends of the Lincolnwood Library is a not-for-profit organization that
provides financial support to the library. Examples of support include the new LincoLnwood
book drop in the parking lot, landscaping for the new lot, children’s materials, PubLic LibrarY disTricT
and AV and audio materials. The Friends welcome new and returning members 4000 W. Pratt Ave.
