3. I START WORK AT HALF PAST NINE , I WALK IN THE YARD LATER AT A
QUARTER PAST ELEVEN, I HAVE ENGLISH CLASS AND I FINISH IT AT A
QUARTER TO ONE.
AT A HALF PAST ONE I HAVE LUNCH, LATER AT TWO O’CLOCK I HAVE
A NAP , AT A HALF PAST FOUR I WALK IN THE YARD, LATER AT A
QUARTER TO SEVEN I HAVE A SHOWER LATER I WATCH TV.
AT A HALF PAST EIGHT I HAVE DINNER, LATER AT NINE O’CLOCK I
WATCH TV AND AT A HALF PAST ELEVEN I GO TO BED AND AFTER FIVE
MINUTES I’M SLEEPING AND DREAMING.

I’m Paco. I am 30 years old. I am a lorry driver. I have got a
wife. Her name is J.. She is from Dominican Republic.
We have got two children. Their names are H. F. and R. A.
H. is 3 years old and R. is 6 years old.
We have got two dogs. Their names are Robert and Linda.
Robert is a Pekinese and Linda is a mongrel.
I have got one sister. Her name is L. She is 23 years old.
My wife has got brown eyes and black hair.
She has got her own hairdresser’s studio. It is specialised in
Dominican styles.

5. MUSTAPHA
My name is Mustapha. I’m from Morocco.
I am 42yeas old. I am married and I have got two daughters. I
have got six sisters and one brother. My mother is dead. My
father is married. All my sisters are married, my family is of
mixed race and all of them work in construction. We are from
Marraquech, which is a multi-cultural and beautiful city with
plenty of tourism.
I live in Barcelona center in a big flat with a kitchen and
bedroom with one big living room. It has got an office on the
second floor. May flat is beautiful, it has got a small balcony.
My flat hasn’t got interior walls; it’s an open-plan design.

LET’S GO!
Hello, my name is Abdelkader, I live in Barcelona, a city that has a crazy life.
I have 26 years old.I am in prison for one year and my head is tired. I only wish return
to my house with my family. Now, I am studying English in order to have more
knowledge. In the prison, the main objective is not to think about the street.

8. ALEX
My name is Alejandro, I’m 28 years old. I have got a dark hair and brown eyes, I’m
tall and pretty, I’m a very good person, and I’m always happy
I have got one brother and one sister, I’m married, my wife’s name is R., and she is 28
years old too. All my family works in construction. My father has got his own
company. I’ve got two daughters, one is 10 years old and her name is S. and the other
is 3 years old and her name is Ch..
My daughter C. is very beautiful, she has got a plump face, she is very funny and she
speaks a lot. She has got a long dark hair and her big eyes are brown.
I live in V. My flat is very beautiful, it has got three bedrooms, one for me and my
wife, other for my daughters and other for a toy.
It has got a terrace of thirty meters, where we have parties. It has got a big living-room
with a big black sofa, a big glass table and six chairs of leather, a plasma television,
and a very beautiful white piece of furniture, where there are a television, ornaments
and books. There are beautiful beige curtains which cover the sliding doors to the
terrace.
It has got a big kitchen with a green piece of furniture; the kitchen has got a little
gallery, for a washing machine and wringer. It has got a very beautiful bathroom, with
a bath-tub where my daughters play. In my bedroom I’ve got photos of my daughters,
and my wife and me and a big television, too.

9. I wake up at half past seven; I have a shower after that I have breakfast, later
from nine to eleven o’clock I write a letter for my wife. At eleven o’clock I go to the
English class with my friends and my teacher Dolors, when I finish the class I go to
the dinning room to work, I come in the food, and I have lunch, after the lunch I go to
wash trays, because I work in the kitchen.
In the afternoon I see the news on television and I have a nap. Next, at half past
three I go to the pre university entrance class with my teacher Pere. The class finishes
at seven o’clock because I go to call my daughters at half past six and next I go to the
dining room at a quarter to seven to dry trays. After, I return to bring the food for
everyone and after I have dinner. After that I wash trays until nine o’clock. At a
quarter past nine the bedroom is closed, I and mi brother play a dominoes game and
we watch the television until eleven or twelve o’clock. At twelve o’clock I go to bed
to sleep. Good night!!

10. DIEGOOOOOLLLL…….!!!!
My name’s Diego. I’m 24 years old, I am from Peru.
I’m a butcher. I’m short but slim; I’ve got black hair and dark
eyes. I’ve got two earrings in my right ear; I’ve also got two
tattoos. I’m very clean and orderly. My mother says that I’m
good looking, but she loves me…
I am not married, but I have got a girlfriend. Her name’s
Georgina, she is 20 years old and she is from Ecuador.
I’ve got one brother, he is 20 years old and he is from
Ecuador. His name is Mario and he is a student. I live in
Barcelona with my parents.

11. They are B. and M., my mother is 45 years old and she is a
housewife, my father is 46 years old and he is a worker in a
factory.
Our flat is in Sant Cugat del Vallès, It has got three bedrooms,
the biggest is for my mother, as usual. Also it has got the living
room, dining room, bathroom, the kitchen and one balcony. It is
very good because it has got fantastic views.
Every day I wake up at five o’clock, but I get up at half past
five, because I go to work at six o’clock. I have breakfast at
twenty to ten until twenty past ten. I Finish work at three
o’clock and I go to my flat for dinner with my brother and my
mother. After that I watch the news and sports and as usual I
take a nap, but it is a short while, next to nothing… At five
o’clock I go to the gym, one hour. After that I go to a bar in
the town where my friends are, and we take some drinks until
eight o’clock. My mother makes the supper at nine o clock, just
when I finish having a shower.

12. Douglas
My name is Douglas. I’m from Peru. I’m 35 years old. I’m a printing
operative. I have black short hair and crisp, brown eyes and small ears.
I have got one brother who is 36 years old. He’s a hardware shop
assistant. I have got one sister who is 23 years old. She’s an
administrative. Both are single.
My flat has got three bedrooms one big and two small, one kitchen,
laundry, dining-room and living-room. I live in the attic floor. In my
bedroom there are one computer, two beds one printer and a wardrobe.

13. In the dining-room there are one table and four chairs and in the living-
room a music equipment, a TV, a bookcase and one sofa.
I wake up at a quarter to seven, first I pray then I get up I brush my
teeths, I have breakfast and after that I go to work. At nine o’clock I eat a
sandwich. Then I return to work. I have not fixed hour for lunch, it can
be between half past one and half past two. Then, I return to work until
seven o’clock. I get home I have a shower, then I have dinner, I watch
TV, after that I read the bible and I pray. I go to bed at eleven o clock.

14. Jhonny
My name is Jhonny, I am 27 years old and I’m from Colombia (Cali)
I live in Barcelona ( Spain), I’m married but now I don’t live with my
wife, I have got only one sister and two nieces .
I live with my cousin and her son in my house.
My sister is the best sister in the world; she always comes to visit me.
She has got the prospect that I get out of this prison very soon. She is
very beautiful, she is 34 years old, and she has got two daughters. She
works in a hotel.
I live in Barcelona, in Gracia neighbourhood, near Sagrada Familia.
It is a small flat; it has got 3 rooms, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen. My
room is the best, it has got a balcony to the street, it‘s very big. In the
room I have my bed, my bin bag, my plasma TV and my console. I

15. also have got 1 small library, my collection of heavy metal that it is my
worship. I would like a small plant with flowers, too.
Now I life in the prison of Barcelona (la modelo) .I live in a cell with
three friends more. In my daily life I wake up very early at eight o
clock. After I make my bed ans I brush my teeth. I go down and I have
a shower. I return to my cell and I get dressed, I comb my hair. Then
go to have break fast at nine o’clock. I return to my cell I watch TV
after that I go to the yard to walk. From Monday to Friday every day I
go to English class with my teacher Dolors, the class starts at a quarter
past eleven and finish at a quarter past one.
In the afternoon I have lunch, then I smoke a cigarette and I take a
coffee. I have a nap very short. I get up I watch a film on the TV.
Always I go down to the yard. I usually speak with my friends before
going to the gym, I do my exercises. Then I go to the yard and I have a
shower.
In the evening I have dinner, I go up to my cell I watch a film on TV or
I read a book. At twelve o’clock I go to bed.

16. Oliver
I’ m Oliver. I’m from Dominican Republic.
I’m thirty-five years old. I’m a cleaner. I have got four children. Paul
is12 years old, Paula is 11 years old, Carol is 6 years old and
Scarlet is 3 years old. She goes to skate class.
My wife’s name is R.. My mother’s name is I.. I’ve got four sisters,
R., Y., M., and Y..
My flat is in Barcelona. It has got 3 bedrooms, one kitchen, one
toilet and a dining room. It has got a twenty-inch TV and one sofa.
The floor is white. It hasn’t got a garage. My mother has got
flowers in the balcony. We have got laptop and internet.

17. My daily activities in prison
I get up at eight o’clock. At half past eight I have breakfast and
then I go to the gym. It‘s ten o’clock so I go to the yard. At a
quarter past eleven I go to English class with my teacher Dolors.
It’s twenty five to one and I am in the cell. Later I go to lunch.
From half past two to four o’clock I take a nap. From 4.30 to 18.45
I walk in the yard. Then I go to take a shower and then I have
dinner. At eleven o’clock, more or less, I go to bed.
My daily activities free
I get up at eight o’clock. I dressed, teeth to brush, breakfast and a
quarter to nine I to take children at school.
