2. This is our public school, “Nuestra Señora de Oreto y Zuqueca”. It is placed in a small town called Granátula de Calatrava in Ciudad Real – Spain

4. This academic year, 2011-2012, there are only fifty-five children from three to twelve years old.

6. This is the classroom where 3 and 4-year-old children play and learn together

7. 5-year-old children are fairly hard workers.

8. There are two classrooms for 3, 4 and 5-year-old children. In Primary we have four classrooms. Children here learn about several subjects: MATHS, SPANISH LANGUAGE, ENVIRONMENT KNOWLEDGE (Science, Geography and History), ENGLISH, ART, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, MUSIC and CATHOLIC RELIGION. 4th level pupils

9. 1st and 2nd level pupils in their English class. This classroom is shared with 1 st level pupils but only for some subjects. Art class.

10. They are the 5th and 6th level pupils in their classrooms

11. At school we all like to celebrate some special days and important festivals. Children have fun and they enjoy them very much. We use to celebrate: Halloween, Christmas, Peace Day, the Book Day, the Spanish Constitution and Human Rights Day, Easter, Carnival,… Here, you can see some photographs.

13. In Primary classrooms, there are digital boards and children can use a personal netbook or small computer to do their homework. Pupils l earn English as a target language from 3 years old. We use songs, games, stories, flashcards, posters…plays in english…

14. Thanks to the project that we are going to begin in eTwinning, we want our pupils to meet other children from other schools in different countries, and of course, we all can improve our English and learn a lot… See you soon!
