A little afterwards in the same week the client whom my superior took funds from
informed me he needed some after shave lotion, so I informed him back that it is
no big deal we will gladly go and procure the lotion a little later. I proceeded to his
box to take some funds from his petty cash and I saw the voucher that was signed
by my superior. The voucher had an item of the lotion in it so I proceeded to verify
in the client’s area whether he may have forgotten about the lotion. The lotion was
nowhere to be found in his area and then I began to have some suspicions. I got
back to the safety box and took the voucher and checked for the other things but
the things on the voucher were nowhere to be found. I had no idea on how to deal
with the situation at the time. I thought maybe he has forgotten to carry the stuff in
or he placed the stuff in another place. I was not about to make anything about this
yet. And then I waited till the day that followed and just as I was about to raise the
matter to him, I overheard him talking over the telephone to somebody regarding
some things he procured for his self at Wal-Mart. A few of the things mentioned in
the conversation were listed on the voucher. Subsequent to my listening in to this
dialogue I asked him if he procured some lotion for the client and, his answer was
yes. And then I asked him where he kept it because I was looking for this lotion and
couldn’t seem to locate where it is. My superior then said you recognize how the
client is, maybe he already used up the lotion or he probably threw it away or
whatever. At this juncture I was starting to have doubts about my superior’s acts.
