WWW.DOYENZ.COM 72.5.50.X Dedicated public IP provided by Shadowcloud Failover First Windows Server Started Virtual Firewall Isolates your client from all other machines in the Shadowcloud Additional Windows Servers Started behind the same firewall, on the same LAN Virtual Switch Client ’s internal IPs, subnet & gateway are recreated in the Shadowcloud PPTP VPN Connections Windows/Mac clients pass-through the firewall to terminate VPN on the Windows Server * No VPN client is required * Users can use their own Domain credentials. 1. Start the first server in failover mode. 2. The server will start behind a virtual firewall with 1 public IP address dedicated to it for the failover period. 3. Start additional servers and connect them to the first one. The internal network will be a duplicate of the client ’s network. 4. Ensure that the first machine has RRAS enabled and configured to terminate inbound PPTP VPN connections. 5. Configure Windows/Mac clients to VPN to their server using their own domain credentials. 6. If the client has a terminal server they can use RDP to connect to their network in the cloud.
