DPNet is a non-profit network formed in 1996 to strengthen coordination and information sharing for disaster management in South Asia. Its objectives are to promote coordination between organizations, build capacity, and advocate for a rights-based approach. Major activities include capacity building, partnerships, advocacy, and knowledge sharing. In a pandemic, DPNet facilitates coordination, communication, and advocacy to link disaster response and development for a sustainable approach.
