The aim of this game is to operate your ice cream
business and try to become a millionaire. You need
to make the right choices and decisions about
which area/neighbourhood to work in, which and
how many ice cream to stock, how much money to
spend on advertisement, salary and security, and
how much sale price percentage to set. You start
off with $1000 and work your way towards
becoming a millionaire.
The game starts off quite challenging as you have
to try and remember the favourite ice creams in
each neighbourhood area, I continued to make a
loss for several days (in the game) until I recorded
down the types of ice cream that was popular in
each area. After that, I slowly made profits. As I
purchased a bigger ice cream cart and had higher
ratings, I made larger profits and eventually
reached one million. Planning and paying attention
to details is a key factor for success in this game.
Success is measured by:
*Reaching the targeted goal as
the game progresses. E.g. sell
20 ice-creams in a week, raise
your rating to 10% in 2 weeks,
buy a tri-cycle cart in 2 weeks
etc.
*The game starts you off with
$1000, and the ultimate goal
of the game is to make 1
million dollars
* Adjusting sales price percentage according
to reputation/ratings and weather – some
customers may think the price is too high
* Looking at the weather forecast to
determine how many ice-cream to stock
and which area to sell the ice-cream. E.g.
try to sell ice-cream in an area with a
higher temperature, stock less ice-cream
on a rainy day
* Each area has a few favourite ice-cream
types, it is important to stock them
according to the area you’re in
* Adjust the salary for workers and security
accordingly
* Be wary that some areas sometimes are less
populated with higher crime rate
* Try to complete missions to earn bonuses
