The document introduces the ISCRAM (Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management) community, which was started in 2004 to promote research and development of information systems for crisis response. The community aims to promote cooperation between stakeholders and facilitate the sharing of knowledge through conferences, publications, and other events. It has grown significantly since its founding, and now includes an annual international conference, PhD summer schools, workshops in China, and an international journal.
