Introduction and communication of the program
     Presents an effective introduction
     Communicates the objectives and the program of the training
     Checks the level of knowledge or experience (starting point)
     Communicates the evaluation method and criteria
     Encourages questions
Training skills
     Provides a clear structured training
     Creates a positive learning atmosphere
     Uses the Kolb learning cycle
     Gives a clear and brief instruction to the assignments
     Acts as a facilitator of the learning process: The trainees ‘do the work’
     Provides assignments with instructional guidance
     Organizes rest and reflection moments
Coaching skills
     Starts with an open complex question that makes trainees think and work together
     Asks guiding questions that help the trainee in finding the solution
     Listens actively to the trainees
     Stimulates involvement of all trainees during the training
Evaluation
     Evaluation/conclusion during and at the end of the training
     Performs an effective evaluation and concrete feedback on areas that need improvement
     Asks the other trainees to give feedback on the question/answer/activity of fellow trainee (peer feedback
