Romans 12 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renew-ing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, Will of God.

8. Love is patient. Patient means to bear or suffer long ; to patiently endure. Do you know that sometimes we have to put up with people we love. They may get on our nerves ; they may hurt our feelings.

9. Love is kind. The KJV says, "Love suffers long and is kind." We all have to put up with people; it's inescapable . But, to be kind in that hour is godly love .

10. Love does not envy. Love is happy for the blessing of others. Love is happy for their welfare.

11. Love does not boast; it is not proud. A braggart loves himself and no one else. He is filled with a sense of his own importance . He puts others down , because he thinks he smarter, wiser, and more insightful. He looks down his nose at everyone who is not just like him.

12. Love is not rude; Doesn't act ugly. Love is courteous . Love is not self-seeking: Love doesn't seek -- it's own way , it's own benefit . Love is not easily angered, and keeps no record of wrongs. We are commanded to be slow to wrath , slow to speak, swift to hear. A disagreement should not become a history lesson .

13. Love doesn't want bad to happen to people, even when they deserve it . Genuine love is always loyal , no matter what. Loyalty is rare and precious . Love never quits : On God, on the callings and gifts of God, Or on friends or family.
