A need for a modern Fiber Optic Training laboratory in a Mr. Hitesh Mehta

compact form for teaching fiber optics concepts in a user friendly
manner was felt
Contacts with leading R&D organisations like IIT Delhi led to
the conceptualisation of Light Runner
Prof. K. Thyagarajan
Development based on the concept was done by the newly
formed Fiber Optika having a dedicated team of highly qualified
scientists and engineers
Prototype was ready within 4 months of conceptualisation and
the first product hit the market in 6 months
