Strategic Plan Outline


I.     Introduction and Background Information
II.    Vision – The Vision defines the organization’s purpose, and values rather than
       bottom line measures.
III.   Mission - The Mission is a succinct, comprehensive statement of the
       organization’s purpose.
IV.    Goals - Goals are statements which describe the desired position, results, or
       major outcomes the system intends to achieve.
V.     Objectives - Objectives are concrete steps toward achieving goals.
VI.    Action Plan – The Action Plan provides a management tool that organizes the
       activities to transform the vision into outcomes.
VII.   Performance Measures - The Performance Measures are characteristics of
       products, services, processes, and operations that can be used to track and
       improve performance.
VIII. Appendix – Supporting documents, surveys, analysis, etc.
