What Have We Learned? Wants and Needs Maslow’s Hierarchy (5 levels, SurvivalSelf-Fulfillment) Goal Setting SMART know the words, and know how to make a good goal Decision Making Process 9 Steps!!! (Hard to remember!) apply the process to a case study Relationships why are they important? characteristics of good relationships
Vocab - 36 words!!  We studied more!!!
Decision Making Practice You are a farmer.  There are 1000 big bugs eating your crops!  You must kill the bugs with a pesticide to save your crops.  Some bugs will resist some types of pesticides.  You have used each of these pesticides before, and you have a (rough) guess as to what your consequences will be.  What pesticide will you use?
2. Your friend is very sick.  There is treatment for the illness, but it does not always work.  The treatment is new, so the possibilities of consequences are not known well, but they are guessed to be as follows.  Should she get the surgery?
Practice! Decision Making Skills Examine each problem and go through the decision making process to make a choice of what to do.  Write down your thoughts for each step.  After you finish step 7 (finish your plan and DO IT!!), visit the teacher to find out the results of your decision, then continue to write your thoughts for step 8.
