1. Dynamic publishing via the Design Manager. Allows you to create your images and artifacts in one place, pull them from a library to build composed looks. Image renditions allow you to customize images based on how they are consumed (multi-device channels) via device-specific master pages
2. SEO optimization, analytics processing, runs different analytics jobs to analyze content in the search index and user actions that were performed on a site to identify items that users perceive as more relevant than others.
3. In addition to expanded functionality in MySites, Microsoft has added the social communities capability to help teams interact with all of the social community tools they expect on any public platform, such as share documents, leave notes, have threaded discussions, blog, collaborate via wiki, track tasks via a project site, and so forth.
4. Deeper collaboration with SharePoint is coming, but right now you can push content from SharePoint to Yammer, and MySites have leveraged some of what Yammer has done around MySites. More to come this fall, I’m sure.
5. Office Web Apps, with Drag and Drop, tighter integration with Exchange, and task management
6. Improved SPDesigner, a new class of workflows (Windows Azure workflow), more Powershell commandlets that help you manage workflow, and the ability to make workflows available as solutions in your app store for additional automation of your environment.
7. Around since 2007, it replaces Workspace (Groove) for online/offline syncing. Provides drag and drop upload, sync with SharePoint.
