Father: Oh! Our great, great grandparents weren’t lazy, but their
life was very simple.
Alex: Is that right? Please tell me more about them, father.
Father: Well, they didn’t grow the food they ate. They gathered
wild fruits, leaves and roots of wild plants.
Alex: Wild animals were hard to catch. How did they eat?
Father: The men helped one another. They hunted with their
spears and bows and arrows.
Alex: Did they cook their food?
Father: Of course, they did. They roasted them. But sometimes
they ate raw food.
Alex: Raw! I couldn’t imagine my self eating raw meat. I’m glad
