What upsets you?
This collection of individual books explores this question, since inevitably disagreements
and misunderstandings occur in our daily lives, either at home with family members or at
school with our peers and friends. Given that quarrels are a fact of life, it is important for
people to have good emotional skills—such as self-confidence and positive self-esteem—
to deal with the problems at hand.
Students identified one incident in their lives which led to a conflict, and as a means of
visualizing a solution to this dispute they wrote and illustrated a poem about themselves
and all their best emotional qualities that could have helped in its resolution.
