Raptor is a Java-based system for parsing authentication log files from systems like Shibboleth, Ezproxy, and OpenAthens to provide statistics that are important for budgeting electronic resources. The current versions have been working successfully on production servers at Cardiff University for 8 months. Future work includes standardizing the accounting model with other organizations and releasing version 1.0 with a Windows installer by the end of the year. The dashboard currently provides various statistics on authentications to resources over time, locations, and individual users.
