7. This slide is very hard to read
• Did you think so? Here's why this slides are unusable for reading in
projectorlike environment.
• By using so many bullets in one page.
– More than 4 bullets in one slide, your target audience are starting to have
hard time try to remember the slide.
– More than 10 and nearly nobody would consider looking at it.
– That would put too many eggs into one basket.
• And also choose so small font size that normally people cannot see the slide
clearly from normal distances.
– Let's say: you choose font size <= 20 as in this slide.
• Even choosing inappropriate font for screen can have some effects on
readability
– Serif font (like in this slide) made your document looks frustrating.
– It's because of their glyphs.
• Combining these 3 factors together, you'll end up high chances your slides
cannot be read my most of your audience
• And That's [a lot of] kills!
