Our voices and personalities define our identities. Mass media allows widespread communication but can be easily controlled, unlike personal conversations which allow better understanding between people. New technologies like the internet enable conversations that cannot be controlled by any single entity and foster innovation through new processes. People and markets can readily adapt to changes when open sharing of knowledge and experiences builds trust.
