3. The SPCA is a society that takes care of unwanted,
abandoned or abused animals or pets.
SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty
to Animals
4. • They give the animals shelter
• They give food and water to the animals
• They give them medical care and attention if they
are sick or wounded
• They give the animals love
• They try to find good homes and good owners for
the animals
5. • They do not have enough room for every animal
• They have to supply food, water and medical
attention to the animals and this costs $$$$$$$$
• If there is not enough room, they may have to put
animals down
6. • We can adopt pets from an animal shelter rather
than buy pets from a pet shop
• We could donate food for animals
• We can get some toys for the animals to play with so
that they do not get bored
7. • We are having a drawing competition, and you need to draw an
animal from the SPCA. Entries will close on November 4. We will
choose the 5 best drawings, and then YOU can log onto

7th to the 14th of November. The password for

announced on November 18 and will get… A BOOK!!! (about
