 All have previous introductory chemistry knowledge
 Hands-on learners, with a few exceptions
 Understand/apply concepts well through homework

3. Objective
Students will correctly solve calculations involving acid-
base equilibrium constants by manipulating variables,
performing a laboratory experiment, and relating back to
previous concepts of stoichiometry and equilibrium with
80% accuracy by the end of the unit.

Day 1: Review of acid strength/dissociation; Introduction
to Ka and Kb; ICE charts
Day 2: pH, pOH; Kw; pKa and pKb
Day 3: Buffers;Titrations
Day 4:Acid-BaseTitration lab
