Free Training Course for Young Carers In Birmingham- to gain an accredited qualification in Employability Skills, and support to achieve paid employment.

1. Are you a carer aged 18-25?
Are you not in education, employment or training?
Would you like the opportunity to gain a useful qualification?
Opening Doors for Carers is launching a new project funded by The
Carers Trust aimed at improving the employment prospects of young
adult carers.
The project will provide young adult carers with the opportunity to gain
an accredited qualification in Employability to enhance their future
employment prospects. The qualification is designed to enable learners
to:
Enhance and develop their employability skills;
Develop the skills required for success in the workplace;
Build confidence to gain and retain a job.
In addition, each young carer will be assigned an adviser who can give
Careers Advice as well as source voluntary work opportunities and/ or
work experience.
