• With more and more people catching up with television online and
  missing the scheduled program. This can have a significant effect on
  the amount of people your advert can reach. This has brought on
  the use of compulsory adverts on platforms such as 4OD and ITV
  PLAYER.

• There are still significantly less adverts than what we would watch
  on television therefore this may lead to the same amount, if not
  more being shown online.
Social Media – Facebook & Twitter
• With the incredible popularity of Social networking and the huge numbers
  it draws, this is the perfect place for advertisers to reach a whole new level
  of audience.

• People are able to share information at the click of a button and it can
  reach millions, therefore it is the perfect platform.

• Here is an example of the mass media that Twitter can link too

• A company based on the idea of CAPTCHA which
  has introduced the innovative idea of getting the
  user to type in a slogan of a product to prove that
  they have seen the advert.

• The website www.perezhilton.com has placed
  this before all of its videos and I feel this will
  become a lot more popular technique in the
  future as they are quick (good for user) and get a
  response (good for the company).
