The Petrosky-Snell Coaching Index (PSCI)
                                             Background
What is it?
A soon to be released online assessment tool to help people with ADHD be more productive and less
stressed. It provides an individualized profile of what the person is doing to move themselves forward
and how they’re getting in their own way.
What does it do?
Provides objective scores on where the person stands in terms of crucial skills and practical
recommendations to improve performance, targeting specifically:
    • Time Management
    • Daily Planning
    • Problem Solving
    • Interpersonal Skills
    • Information Management
                                      Initial Research Findings
Increasing Productivity
    •   One of the single best things you can do to improve productivity is this: don’t agree to do
        anything until you identify the specific date and time you will do it. We found that people
        who do this are 41% more productive than those who don’t.
    •   People who do the follow ing 3 things are 62% more productive than those who do not.
           o Don’t agree to do anything until you identify the specific date and time you will do it.
           o Take the time to go to the store and buy all the supplies you need (e.g. stamps, folders,
               ink cartridges, etc.).
           o When you have a million things to do just pick one and do it as opposed to obsessing
               about how to do everything at once.
Reducing Stress
    •   One of the single best things you can do to relieve stress is to celebrate the “small
        victories.” People who recognize the small steps they are taking towards large goals are on
        average 25% less stressed than those who don’t.
    •   People who do the follow ing 3 things were 45% less stressed than those who do not:
           o Celebrate the small victories
           o Have people’s phone numbers easily accessible so you can call them back right away
           o Ask for help for problems you have not been able to solve on your own.
