6. Installing wordpress
• All major hosting now have easy
install feature for wordpress – use it
• Hostgator.com is known to work very
well with wordpress.
• But if you really have to…

7. It only takes about 5 minutes
• Create a mySQL DB on phpAdmin
• Download and unzip the WordPress
• Rename the wp-config-sample.php file
to wp-config.php and open with a text
editor.
• Edit the info to match your details.
• Upload everything and go to:
http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php

between pages and posts?
• Pages are generally timeless
information such as ‘About’ or ‘Contact’
but can also be used to structure a
website. In essence, Pages are for non-
blog content.
• Posts are mainly for blogging or for
any information that has time/date
