Jointly organized by CMA Canada (BC Hong Kong Branch) and the Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, this talk will provide an update on the development of Knowledge Management and associated tools in the past decades. In recent years, Web 2.0, social media and the Cloud have a profound effect on knowledge sharing and collaboration, especially in the form of bottom-up ubiquitous sharing, the viral effect, and harnessing of micro-expertise and collective wisdom.
