The students tested how the incline of a stream table affected erosion. They hypothesized that a steeper incline would cause more erosion. They ran three trials where they poured the same amount of water down the stream table at the same rate each time, but increased the slope for each subsequent trial. Their analysis found that erosion increased in the end and sides of the stream table as the incline increased. They concluded that a higher incline results in more erosion.
