- They are NOT bears
- They are marsupials (Like kangaroos)
- Females have a pouch to carry the baby
- The koala babies are called joey

They don’t drink water.
Koala = Doesn’t drink water (in aboriginal)

- They are from 72 to 84 cm tall.
- They live about 10 years.
