This document provides instructions for students to write a short biography of a modern Olympic athlete. Students are asked to choose an athlete, research their life using the provided grid, and write a biography in full paragraphs. The biography should include details about the athlete's birthplace and early life, career highlights and sporting achievements, the events they will compete in at the upcoming London Olympics, and their future ambitions. Suggested athletes are provided or students may choose someone from another country.

3. Write out your biography in full sentences and of someone’s life
paragraphs. Athlete = sports person
Do not copy and paste from the
internet.
This can be presented digitally (word, powerpoint, smart notebook etc) or on
paper (cardboard, booklet).
Remember to acknowledge your sources!
Possible athletes: Stephanie Rice, Steve Hooker, Sally Pearson. You may
choose an athlete from a different country.
