4. GOAL OF THE COLLABORATION
To deliver a Rich Content Discovery prototype across all the RTÉ
Archives, enabling wider re-use of RTÉ Archive audiovisual material
Specifically, to enhance digital workflows in order to present a pilot
content discovery web service that sits on top of RTÉ’s current
databases, allowing searches across the different archives

5. APPROACH
1. Provide a selection of metadata and essence to DERI / DRI for test
and experimentation purposes
2. Create new metadata models along semantic web principles
3. Build a test platform of sufficient robustness to prove the concept
of the new model
