Share Buy-Back Program

• Announced a share buy-back program in the first quarter
  of 2007

• Authorized to repurchase up to 5%, approximately 6.5
  million shares, of Owens Corning outstanding stock

• During Q3 Owens Corning repurchased 1.9 million
  shares of the Company’s common stock at an average
  price paid of $22.23

• Through September 2008, Owens Corning repurchased
  approximately 2.9 million shares of the Company’s
  common stock at an average price of $22.70 per share

• As of September 30, 2008, the company has about 3.6
  million shares remaining available for repurchase under
  the current authorization
