The document summarizes the third installment of the Morgan legacy series. It describes Danielle founding the legacy house and giving birth to her three daughters - Veronica, Angelina, and Faye. The family lives happily together with their cat Moonshine. Danielle enjoys being a homemaker while Gordon works in law enforcement. The girls become best friends and grow up in a loving household.
1. The Morgans III: My Three Girls by fireflowersims The third installment in the Morgan legacy. Danielle founds the legacy house and generation 2 is born!
2. Welcome back to the Morgan legacy! Today's hosts are Flavius and Professor Marius. And this is the first thing they did when I moved them in to their new house. Anyway, in case you don't remember, Danielle went to college, fell in love with Gordon Tellerman, and made several friends. We left off just as she graduated. Enjoy!
3. When Danielle woke up, she found that the taxi had brought her to a large lot with a small shack and a scattering of furniture. "Legacy life?" the driver asked sympathetically. When she nodded, he added "Good luck." She stepped out of the car and smiled to herself. "Thanks." She'd had so much luck already- getting a great education, meeting Gordon, making friends like Starla and Melissa. How much luckier could she possibly get?
4. She changed into the wedding dress she had splurged on and took a deep breath. "Time to find out," she murmured, and made a few phone calls.
5. When everyone showed up, she saw the startled awe in Gordon's eyes. "Danielle, you look..." he stammered. "Like an alien queen?" Starla asked teasingly. Danielle stuck her tongue out at her friend, then kissed Gordon. "Come on," she said softly, smiling at him. "Let's get married."
6. As they exchanged vows and rings and looked into each other's eyes, Danielle knew that this was a moment she'd remember for the rest of her life. So was the moment just after their first kiss as husband and wife, when Gordon told her he'd brought fourteen thousand Simoleons with him.
7. The next thing she knew, they had a small house rather than a shack, and though their bank balance was somewhere around $1000, it was worth it. She was digging into the pancakes Gordon had fixed her when she saw a police officer walk into the house and greet Gordon. She glanced up nervously. "The party isn't too loud, is it, officer?" she asked. He smiled at her. "No, I'm just bringing you another guest." "Another-" she began, confused. "I'll be right back," Gordon told her, a huge grin on his face as he and the cop walked out of the room.
8. When the policeman handed him the tiny white kitten, Gordon knew that this was the perfect wedding gift. "Welcome to the family, Moonshine," he told him, snuggling him close.
9. The rest of the party seemed like a blur, as did their quick honeymoon. It wasn't until they were back in their little house that time seemed to return to normal again. "Thank you so much for Moonshine," she told Gordon yet again, still beaming. "I always wanted a cat, but my brother's dog would have..." "I remember," he replied. "That's why I bought you one now." He smiled. "Well, that and I couldn't help buying him." She laughed. "I love you, Gordon." "I love you, too."
10. Married life suited her. She spent the first few days feeling completely happy and content, caring for Moonshine and trying to decide what career she wanted.
11. Then she began to feel strange. She was hungry more often and constantly tired. A few days after her wedding, she sat up and realized that she'd fallen asleep while eating salad. "What's going on with me?" she muttered, fear hitting hard.
12. She realized the truth a few hours later, when her stomach grew. A huge grin formed on her face. She'd been longing to have children, and now she was finally going to have one... or maybe even two.
13. Gordon was thrilled and pampered her throughout her pregnancy. He made sure she had whatever she needed and loved to talk to the baby.
14. Then, just after lunch... "GORDON!" Gordon jumped, clearly startled. "What should I do? Should I call someone? Should I-" "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!"
15. But all the pain was worth it when she looked at her daughter for the first time. "Hi, Veronica," she whispered, gazing into eyes as green as her own.
16. Gordon continued to dote on the baby. If Danielle didn't have her, Gordon did. He loved cuddling her and often marveled about how much she could eat and how she was growing. Veronica was clearly a daddy's girl, a fact that Danielle loved. Seeing Gordon as such a dedicated father made her love him even more.
18. Moonshine grew into a handsome cat. He definitely preferred Danielle over Gordon, but spent most of his time ignoring them both and running crazily around the house. They got a kick out of his antics.
19. "Aren't you just so handsome?" Melissa cooed to him. Leo and Virginia watched her, mildly amused. "Aren't you just so crazy?" Leo asked in a dead-on imitation of her voice.
20. Then the rest of the guests and family arrived, allowing Moonshine to slip away. After all this party wasn't for him.
21. It was for Veronica, who was about to have her first birthday.
22. She more than lived up to how everyone had hoped she would be. She was a playful little girl who always seemed to be on the go.
23. "It's hard to believe that V's not really a baby anymore," Gordon said at dinner, watching his wife a bit sadly. "She's growing so fast, don't you think?" "Yeah, she is," Danielle agreed, looking away so that he wouldn't see the smile beginning to form on her face. "I miss having a baby in the family, though," Gordon added. She couldn't hide her smile any more. "You won't have to for much longer."
24. Gordon quickly went to find Veronica. "Did you hear?" he asked happily, kissing her on the nose. "You're going to be a big sister!" Veronica just giggled. She didn't know what it meant to be a big sister, but she did know that her dad was giddy with happiness, and that made her happy, too.
25. Veronica always seemed to be happy, though. Everyone commented on it, including one of Gordon's fellow law enforcement officers, Sabastian. It seemed like whenever they had friends over Veronica would end up doing most of the entertaining.
26. All too soon it was time for Veronica to have yet another birthday. A proud but sad smile was on Danielle's face as she helped her firstborn blow out the candles.
28. "So one day I'm going to live with you, Starla?" she asked the spiky-haired girl as they ate their cake. Starla looked over at her, surprised. "Yeah, I guess you will," she finally said. "I'd never really thought about it before." "It'll be fun," Veronica promised. "We can go to school together, and maybe even go shopping and I can meet all your friends and..."
29. Starla had to smile. "Sure, Veronica. I can't wait." Veronica beamed. "Me neither!"
30. Danielle had thought about getting a job, but now that there was another baby on the way there was no point. She wanted to stay home and take care of her children, anyway. She enjoyed it. But I don't want to miss out on working, either, she thought over breakfast. I want to experience everything about life, just not some of it. That's why I wanted to start a legacy, right?
31. The question was pushed aside when she abruptly went into labor. "GORDON, HELP!" It hurt just as much as it had before, though she'd forgotten the pain until now. "I can't get in!" Gordon said miserably. "There's no room in there!"
32. Veronica wanted to go help her mother, but she couldn't move. Her mom was obviously hurting really badly. Veronica didn't want to see her like that, even if she could help her feel better. Then her mom's screaming stopped, replaced by a new sound- a baby's soft cry.
33. She tentatively went into the bathroom and found her parents in there, smiling proudly. "You have a new little sister, V," her dad said happily. "Want to meet her?" Veronica eyed the baby curiously, noticing that she had the same hair and eyes as her. She couldn't help grinning. "What's her name?" "Angelina," Danielle replied, sounding tired but much happier than before. Her grin widened. "Hi, Angelina!" she said brightly. "I'm your sister, Veronica! We're going to be best friends."
34. Veronica's life seemed better than ever. She loved school and was getting great grades, and she knew that both of her parents were proud of her.
35. Angelina soon grew into a toddler, who was another daddy's girl. She wasn't quite as playful as Veronica but she had a knack of getting into every available mess on her own.
36. One evening Gordon led Veronica and Danielle through a new doorway in the living room, and into a feminine space-themed bedroom. "It's for you, and for Angelina when she gets older," he told Veronica, watching her hopefully. "I thought you'd like it, and I know you need your own space." Veronica beamed. "It's perfect, Daddy!" she said happily, hugging him. "Now when the aliens visit they can feel at home here!"
37. Having their room back was something Danielle and Gordon quite enjoyed. The effects of that enjoyment made an abrupt appearance the next morning, when Danielle found herself crouched above the toilet. She slowly straightened, trying to ignore the slight dizziness that followed. She couldn't remember the last time she'd been sick. Even when she'd been pregnant... She froze. No way. Could I really be...?
38. "Gordon?" she asked at lunch, trying not to sound too nervous. He looked up from the chili he'd been thoughtfully staring at. "Yes?" "Um... what would you think if we had another baby?" "Another-" He paused, then began to beam. "Really? Can I name it?" Danielle wasn't quite sure how to respond to that. She knew that he had a penchant for using the names of his favorite science fiction characters, and she didn't want a son named Chewbacca. Finally, though, she nodded. "Sure. Do you have any ideas?" "Yeah," he said excitedly. "I was watching Cowboy Bebop last night, you know. What about using names from that?"
39. She'd seen a few episodes, and now eyed him warily. "You want to name our son Spike?" "No, don't worry. I was thinking Jet for a boy, actually. And Faye for a girl, of course." Jet's unusual, but it's cute, she decided. "Those sound great." Gordon beamed, and she smiled back, all her nervousness about this pregnancy vanishing .
40. Moonshine was hardly forgotten in all the excitement. Angelina adored him- almost as much as she adored his food.
41. She could often be found cuddling the cat, giggling as he squirmed frantically in her small arms.
42. Veronica, meanwhile, took pet ownership very seriously. She trained Moonshine to sit up, a feat that she was quite proud of.
43. Moonshine was quite dramatic about how the kids wore him out, but they all knew that he loved them as much as they loved him.
44. Soon Moonshine didn't have to worry about strangling toddler hugs any longer. It was time for Angelina to have her next birthday. Gordon carried her to the cake and smiled down at his youngest daughter. I wonder what she'll be like when she gets older, he thought. A Knowledge sim like me? A Family sim like Danielle? Or maybe something else, an aspiration all her own...
45. But for now he didn't have to worry about that. Angelina was just a child, more active than ever.
47. They quickly became the best of friends, and were often found in each other's company.
48. Danielle also found herself enjoying Angelina's new age. Even though she missed having a toddler to cuddle, she found new activities to enjoy. Angelina especially liked it when Danielle told her all about other legacy families. "And even though Captain Jack Buccaneer was gone, sometimes he would still speak to his family through their special teddy bear."
49. The Piratical legacy was Angelina's favorite. Pirates were right up the adventurous little girl's alley, and becoming a pirate dream was added to her long, ambitious list of future plans.
50. Even Veronica liked to play pirates once in awhile, although thanks to Gordon's influence she was still more of an aliens fan.
51. Then, finally, it was time for the third baby to arrive. This time only the maid was home to hear Danielle's pained screams. Danielle had hoped that she would be used to giving birth by now, but the pain seemed just as fresh as it had the first time. Not having Gordon there made her feel even worse.
52. But all that faded, as always, when she held her third daughter in her arms for the first time. "Hi, Faye," she murmured happily, staring into eyes every bit as green as her own. "Welcome to the family."
53. Angelina was incredibly excited about being an older sister. When the headmaster of the local private school showed up that evening, it was the first thing she blurted out to him. "I'm a big sister now!" she said excitedly. "Mommy had another baby. Now there's three girls in the family!" The headmaster smiled. "Congratulations."
54. They discussed it a bit over dinner, but the headmaster mostly asked Danielle questions about the family. She didn't quite like how intently he was looking at her but let it slide. After all, what could he do while Angelina was in the room? Gordon had his heart set on getting the girls into private school, so Danielle was determined to hold down the fort until her husband got home and could take over.
55. When Angelina excused herself and went to play with Moonshine, Danielle knew she was in trouble. "It's amazing, Mrs. Morgan," the headmaster said. "I never would have thought that you were a mother of three. You still look like you're just out of college. It's like magic." She forced a smile. "Just luck, I guess." No longer hungry, she stood and gathered her plate as well as Angelina's. "Gordon should be home soon. He can show you around." He stood as well, laying a hand on her arm. "Why don't we get to know each other better until then?"
56. She took a step back, resting her hands on her hips. "Headmaster, you do know that this is a legacy family, don't you?" He froze. "What?" "I'd advise you to clarify your intentions. You don't want your students' parents to see this and misunderstand, right?"
57. He smiled weakly. "Of course not. I just meant that I wanted to hear more about the family. The girls can start school at the academy on Monday, of course, but you still need to fill out some paperwork and-" She nodded. "Thank you. I'll just fill it out and send it to you tomorrow. How about that?" "Sounds perfect." He went over to his briefcase, then handed her a folder. "I'm sorry about... well, if you got the wrong idea earlier." Danielle skimmed through the folder, then glanced up at him. "It's all right. You're not the sort of man who would really hit on a married woman." "'Course not," he muttered, glancing around, obviously wondering where the hidden cameras were.
58. Veronica always thought of being admitted to private school as an accidental birthday present, thanks to the timing. The day after the headmaster's visit it was time for her to become a teenager.
59. The only thing she could think about was, of course, the traditional birthday wish. It was the first time she could make one, and she had no idea what it should be. Her dad cheered her on enthusiastically, which gave her an idea. I wish that I'll figure out a way for Daddy and me to meet aliens.
60. Before they knew it, a gorgeous teenager stood in front of them.
61. After a quick hair and wardrobe change, she had a new look for her new age. She headed to the phone, already knowing what to do. She was going to need more than just her dad and herself to meet aliens. She'd need a whole group... a cult, almost. And how better to get such a following than to win their hearts?
62. Her new plans did not distract her from her family, of course. She loved being old enough to take good care of Faye. "You can be in my cult someday, too," she promised the baby. "We're all Daddy's celestial maidens, after all. We have to be in it." It wasn't just a child's dream anymore. She had heard plenty of stories about aliens kidnapping people, so she knew that they were out there. There had to be a way to convince them to allow travel between the planets for humans as well. And she would be the one to do it.
63. "Veronica says she wants us all to meet the aliens," Angelina reported to Danielle at breakfast. "She's gonna get a big group of people to help." "Really?" Danielle asked in amusement, well used to Angelina's tall tales. "It sounds lovely." "I want to meet aliens," Angelina said thoughtfully. "I want to meet pirates, too. And the Grilled Cheese Deity." She paused. "I wonder if there are alien pirates?" Her mother grinned. "I'm sure there are."
64. Gordon decided to throw the next birthday party and invited three of his friends. "I've known them for years," he told Danielle proudly just beforehand. "Alon's the one that got me interested in Star Wars, and he takes great care of his brother Pong. And Dominic's the coolest. Did you know he helped design SSX3?"
65. But now all the focus was on Faye. The Morgan girls cheered as her last moments of babyhood passed by.
66. Now they had a toddler on their hands, one just as active as her two sisters had been. However, she preferred skillbuilding to splashing in puddles, and she was definitely the family's sweetheart. She loved snuggling and could always be counted on to brighten a bad day.
67. Veronica decided that it would be best to get her father's friends involved first, since after all they had similar interests and would be likely to understand her ideas best. Pong was her first target. The starry-eyed boy was easy enough to talk to. After a few polite inquiries, he began to babble nervously about various ghost studies that he'd read about. She listened in interest and inwardly patted herself on the back. Pong would be a perfect group member.
68. Now that Veronica was busy with her plans, Angelina happily took over Moonshine's training.
69. Meeting a real werewolf pack leader and being growled at by him, however, dashed her dreams of becoming a werewolf and sent her running inside.
70. Veronica soon found another good candidate in Corey Carlson. He was the school's science fiction club president and they struck up a seemingly unlikely friendship.
71. "We'd need some sort of vessel that could get us to space," he told Veronica thoughtfully when she filled him in on her plans. "One large enough that could take all of us. How will we finance that?"
72. Veronica shrugged. She hadn't thought about the technicalities so far, just about the goal. "Maybe they can help us. Lend us their ships. That sort of thing." Corey looked doubtful. "This plan needs a lot of work."
73. "I'm so glad I asked you about this," she told Corey as they walked back to the living room. She gave him her best smile, turning on the charm. "You're the smartest guy in school, after all. I know that if anyone can help me, it's you." He was obviously very flattered by the compliment. "I'll do my best," he promised with a huge grin.
74. Angelina was focused on her game, her cheers mingling with those of onlooker Selene Mythology. Faye watched them curiously, then turned back to strangle-hugging the cat, who looked to the oblivious girls for help.
75. He didn't need their help for long, though. The youngest Morgan was about to leave toddlerhood behind her.
76. She looked at her family proudly, oblivious to the wistful tears in Danielle's eyes. "I can sleep in your room now!" she told Veronica gleefully.
77. When the girls went to bed that night, Danielle lay on the couch, gazing listlessly at the television. It was suddenly hitting her that her girls were growing up too fast. Soon they'd be off to college, and she and Gordon would be old and alone until one moved back. Then who knew when she would see the other two? Some legacy families lost contact with the spares completely. Danielle could only pray that her family wouldn't be one of those.
78. Gordon put all such thoughts out of his mind and enjoyed each moment rather than looking ahead.
79. "Mommy, what's college like?" Angelina asked one morning. Danielle's smile momentarily slipped, but she quickly restored it. "College is a great place, 'Lina. There are lots of nice people to meet, and the teachers are good, and the classes are interesting..."
80. She looked at her three smiling girls and tried to imagine them as young adults, taking exams and falling in love. It was going to happen soon, and there was nothing she could do to stop it. But it was so hard to accept.
81. Faye noticed her mother's unhappiness and tried to dance with her to cheer her up. "Do you miss me being at home?" she asked. "Is that why you're so sad?" "I do miss you," Danielle admitted. "The house is very empty when you're all gone. But-" "Then why don't you go, too?" Faye suggested brightly. She blinked. "Go where?" "You can get a job! Maybe you can be a painter. You always paint such pretty pictures. Will I be able to paint as good as you one day?" "Of course," Danielle said absently, turning the idea over in her mind. Work as an artist? The idea made her surprisingly happy. Yeah. Why not?
82. The idea was reaffirmed that afternoon, when Angelina joined Faye in teenhood. If her girls were going to leave, then she didn't want to rattle around the house during Gordon's work hours, accompanied by nothing but memories and phone calls. She could get a job, too. Maybe that would make her feel a little less hollow.
83. Angelina's first act as a teenager was to begin telling legacy stories to Faye, starting with the Piratical legacy. "Are you going to be a pirate, too?" Faye asked her curiously. Angelina shrugged. "Actually, when I got made a Popularity sim, I got this idea..." She smiled up at Veronica, who was watching her in the mirror. "I want to be a scientist. Maybe I can help you with your plans then, too." Veronica grinned back. "Sounds perfect."
84. Danielle began her climb up the art ladder the next day. She couldn't help hesitating when she saw the dirty car that parked outside her door, but forced herself to get past it and got inside. It was time for her to try something working outside the home now.
85. She wasn't the only one with a new job. Thanks to her private school connections, Veronica was talked into becoming the school's substitute mascot.
86. Angelina, meanwhile, got to help out at a local science lab. She absolutely loved her job, and talked all the time about the many new people she met.
87. As for Faye, she just watched all this enviously and wished that she was a teenager, too.
88. "I'm so proud of you," Gordon told Danielle happily after her first promotion. "I knew you'd do great. I love you so much."
89. She tried to smile back. How could Gordon always seem so happy? Didn't he realize how soon they'd be old and grandparents, with two children living away from them? "Thanks," she replied after a moment. "I love you, too."
90. That wasn't the only love in the house. Much to her own surprise, Veronica found herself sharing her first kiss with fellow geek Corey Carlson.
91. As their date ended, she went back into the house, still trying to recover from how hard she'd fallen for him.
92. Corey had always had a huge crush on her, so he was absolutely over the moon about this. He left a huge bouquet of roses by the door along with a note, already full of daydreams about aging up and one day marrying her.
93. One day Danielle returned home from work with an antique camera, a gift from her boss. The family was eager to try it out, and ended up with their first family portrait. Danielle often found herself studying it. At least now she would have some piece of the past to hold onto.
94. Veronica, meanwhile, began going downtown in hopes of meeting new people who may be interested in helping her. Much to her own excitement, she found herself at Rodney's one evening, in between two legacy stars. She couldn't help gazing at the ever-oblivious Brody and wondering if she would ever be able to date him, or someone as gorgeous as him, someday.
95. Angelina, ever eager to make friends, was thrilled to meet the woman who had started the Morgan legacy. "I don't know which of us should be heir," she told her after a few minutes of conversation. "I'd like to be, but so would my sisters. Veronica and I are already overachievers, and we're close to everyone in the family, but I know Faye will be, too. I guess you'll just have to let your readers decide." De nodded. "I'm sure they'll make a good choice." She smiled. "They can't help but make a good choice. You're all great girls." "Thanks!"
96. Faye spent one afternoon listening to Fulvia Scipio brag. "I'm in the Ten Caesars legacy, but I'm older there," she informed Faye loftily. "I'm going to get a supporting part, and I'm going to be famous. Everyone in the legacy world is going to know all about me!" Faye couldn't even remember what had possessed her to bring the girl home.
97. Just after Fulvia left, Faye headed into the kitchen. Surrounded by her family and a friend of Angelina's, it was time for her to become a teenager like her sisters.
98. After the twirl she posed, then grinned. "Finally!"
99. Just before Veronica went to college, Gordon impulsively decided it was time for another group picture. As soon as Faye traded her skirt for a pair of jeans, he ushered them all outside and lined them up amidst the flowers. Once they were set, he couldn't help smiling sentimentally at his 'celestial maidens', as he often referred to them. "You're all so beautiful. I'm going to have to beat the boys off with my lightsaber." Faye giggled. "Dad, V and I are romance sims. We'll just chase after them and bring them back." He sighed dramatically. "I guess you're right. Now, time for the picture. Say 'jedi'!"
100. And Danielle had another picture to add to her collection. Looking at it helped her forget, if only for a moment, that there were only two daughters at home now.
101. Even that was soon ended. After a quick romance with coworker Gabe Chavrat, Angelina chose to join her sister at college, leaving the house to her parents and Faye.
102. Faye missed her sisters, but she decided to stay home a few more days. Danielle and Gordon were soon to grow old, after all, and she wanted to be there for that.
103. Then finally the day arrived. Danielle greeted her friends, relieved that at least one thing in her life hadn't changed. "How are the girls?" she asked Starla instantly. Her best friend laughed. "They'll be here any minute, and you can ask them then." "I can't wait that long!"
104. But of course she did. Even after it was time for her birthday, she kept her eyes on her family each possible second.
105. No longer young-looking and blonde, it took Danielle a few minutes to get adjusted to her appearance. Then she realized something that made her feel much better. As soon as the girls are through college, I'll get to be a grandmother.
106. Gordon joined her in elderdom a few minutes later, as cheerful as ever.
107. And Faye knew that it was her time to leave. So she called college, then slipped out of the house, unable to bear seeing her parents' unhappiness.
108. Professor Butters-Marius waited for the polls section of Boolprop to load. "Can we play red hands now?" her husband Flavius asked hopefully. "No," the professor replied with a patient sigh. It was the third time he'd asked that question. "I need to finish up here first. Then we can." "Oh all right," he grumbled. She looked over the list, then clicked on a link curiously. "The Morgans? That's De's legacy. I wonder how the kids turned out." "Let me see," Flavius said excitedly, going over and reading over her shoulder.
