5. Counseling for youth through Military OneSource:
If the child is younger than 13, he or she may participate in family counseling only. There is no
individual counseling for children younger than age 13.
If the child is between 13 and 18, they can have individual counseling but the parent must
participate in the first session. Telephonic counseling is not available to this age group.
If the child is over 18, they can request and attend counseling on their own provided they meet
other eligibility criteria.
For all callers in crisis, regardless of age, MOS will assess for risk and provide assistance as appropriate.
A suicidal caller would not be turned away because of their age. MOS would work with the caller to
ensure their immediate safety and to connect them with appropriate support services. Please note,
MOS should not be promoted as a suicide hotline. A more appropriate resource would be the National
Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The web link and phone number for this line is located on the MOS
homepage. Their phone number is 1-800-273-TALK (8255) - The link provided below:

SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
Protests: 30 August 2012. Posting from Pugetsoundanarchists.org: Rally at the Courthouse: Support Grand
Jury Resistors. The Seattle grand jury that has been formed to investigate Northwest anarchists. Time is
Noon. Call for Coordinated Action August 24-31: Solidarity with Grand Jury Resisters, Mon, 08/06/2012 -
12:33pm — Anonymous
Grand juries and the repression surrounding them are focused specifically on isolation in an attempt to
strike fear into the hearts of anarchists and all those associated with them. Whether you are close to those
involved in the recent wave of Pacific Northwest anarchist repression or not, its impact has most likely
touched your region.
In an attempt to counter that fear and isolation the days of August 24th to August 31st are being called as a
week of solidarity with anarchists in the Pacific Northwest. Lets turn that fear back toward our common
enemies and drive the impact of their repression into expressions of solidarity. Consider acting in ways that
communicate the passion for freedom that those in the Northwest have continued to express by their
refusal to cooperate with the State's witch hunt.
13. Remember that the next grand jury hearing is on Thursday August 30th at the Federal Courthouse in
downtown Seattle. If you live in the area, please come to the Courthouse on 700 Stewart St. at 12noon for a
demonstration outside. If you live outside the area, consider planning a solidarity demonstration in your
city or an event about grand jury resistance.
May their attempts at repression only make our aim stronger!
