1. 18 DAYS SAFARI: THE BEST OF UGANDA AND TANZANIA.
At Breeze Travel & Safaris we are passionate about sharing the land we know and
loves... let us guide you to this African treasure. This safari is a combination of the best of
Uganda and the best of Northern Tanzania National Parks: Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara.
DAY 1: ENTEBBE – KAMPALA (37 KMS)
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Breeze Travel Guide who will warmly welcome
you and help you with immigration formalities. Then transfer to your hotel (30-45min drive) you
will be briefed about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival e.g. if your flight arrives in the
morning, we will give you a city tour. Dinner and Overnight at Metropole Hotel (BB)
DAY2: KAMPALA - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK (2NITES/3 DAYS): After
breakfast , transfer to Murchison Falls National Park a stopover in Masindi for Lunch. Proceed to
the falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap. This is an experience not to be
missed! Enjoy the sundowner returning to the lodge in the evening Over night and Dinner at
Paara Safari Lodge (luxury) or Sambiya River Lodge(medium).
DAY 3: After an early breakfast, cross the Nile to the Northern bank . The banks of the Nile are
home to many species. Spend the afternoon viewing the largest Crocodiles in Africa, Hippos,
other wildlife that may come down to drink from the river and birds like the shoebill which is
only found in Uganda. After a picnic lunch, take a boat trip down river to the delta where the
Nile empties into Lake Albert return in the evening Over night and Dinner at Paara Safari
Lodge (luxury) or Sambiya River Lodge(medium).
Day 4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK - SEMLIKI VALLEY NATIONAL PARK:
(2NITES/3DAYS): After early breakfast you will proceed to fort portal which is about 4hours
drive. On arrival visit the Toro Kingdom palace at Karuzika where you will learn more about the
Tooro Kingdom. Afternoon drive to the stalagmites and the stalactites commonly known as
“amabere ga nyinamwiru”. These are found in Nyakasura. You will learn more from the tour
guide about how the features came to be named amabere ga nyinamwiru. Continue and visit
some of the crater lakes and you will be amazed on how God has created some of the features of
Uganda. Over night at Semliki Safari lodge or the Camp site. F/B.
Day 5: After an early breakfast visit Semliki Valley. This valley is known as the "Garden of
Eden" and has a magnificent view of the River Semliki meandering to Lake Albert. Visit the
gallery forest of the Mugiri River you may see: chimps and White-spotted Flufftail, Red-tailed
Bristlebill, Red-tailed Ant-Thrush and Blue-breasted Kingfisher. In the late afternoon, a game
drive will reveal herds of Uganda Kob, Waterbuck, Reed Buck, several monkey species as well as
lots of bird opportunities: White-crested Turaco, Eastern Grey Plantain Eater, Mouse birds,
Kingfishers and Bee-Eaters, to name a few. Or take a night drive if possible to see Pennant and
Standard Wing Nightjars within 2 metres. Picnic lunch at the hot water springs. (You can easily
boil an Egg in springs). It’s an experience you will never forget a day of real discovery. You'll visit
a local community in the foothills of the Rwenzoris - the inhabitants who we will be looking
forward to welcome and entertain you the Bakonjo tribe, before visiting the local women's group
making artifacts to provide for the community. Over night at Semliki Safari lodge or the
Camp site. F/B.

2. Day6: SEMLIKI VALLEY NATIONAL PARK- KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
(1NITE/2DAYS):
After breakfast you will proceed to Kibale via Fort Portal which is about 3hrs reputed to have the
greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. After lunch take a forest
walk, you will see many species of monkeys i.ee are many black and white colobus, blue
monkeys, red tailed monkey, solive baboon and bush babies and potto. The park has 325 species
of birds. These include black-capped apalis, blue-headed sunbird, collard apalis, ducky
crinssunwing, purple-breasted sunbird and red-faced woodland warbler. Return to our camp for
lunch. Afternoon at leisure, evening forest walks also available. Dinner and over night at
Kanyanchwu tented camp.
Day 7: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
(2NITES/3DAYS):
After an early breakfast we leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park via fort portal on the way we
shall sight the beauty of Mt. Ruwenzori. Arrive morning hours we take a game drive in the
park which boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the
world, - from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and brooding Crater
lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. Almost 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos,
Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus remarkable
606 bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters, to mention
but a few. Return in the evening Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge(luxury) FB
Day 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK: After breakfast we take on a private boat trip
along Kazinga channel viewing crocodiles and hippos as well as a variety of birds. Return to
hotel for Lunch and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge(luxury) or king
fisher Kicwamba Lodge(medium). FB
Day 9: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK- GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI
(2NITES/3DAYS):
Early breakfast in the morning warm sunshine drive to Bwindi National park. After lunch as an
option, participants can have a guided nature walk in Bwindi and choose from one of the 5 trails.
In the evening you will be able to interact and be entertained by the rare tribe of Batwa where
ou will have a chance to know more about their cultures, their ways of living and learn more
about their eating habits, as they are fruit gatherers. Dinner and overnight at L. Kitandara
tented camp or Gorilla Forest Camp.
Day10: After an early breakfast we head to the jungle for Gorilla trekking. This is a very
interesting activity but expect to walk very long distances in muddy places and more so the
weather conditions may not be all that friendly as this is a natural rainforest where it can rain
anytime of the day. As you trek in the jungle forest you will be able to see a variety of gorilla
species, Bwindi is a home to over 326 gorillas. You will have a chance to watch and take pix of
them while they interact. Alongside you will come across other species of birds and butterflies.
Come back late in the evening for Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas.
An option for luxury accommodation is at Buhoma homesteads.
Day11: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK - LAKE BUNYONYI (110KMS)-
KAMPALA: After early breakfast we proceed to L. Bunyonyi for a brief site seeing then drive
back to Kampala. Lunch in Mbarara. Proceed to Kampala with a stop at the Mpambire Drum
Village where you can shop for souvenirs for your friends. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in
K’la.

3. DAY 12: ENTEBBE – ARUSHA
Depending on the departure time, go for a city tour and visit the craft markets before
transferring to airport to catch your flight to Arusha. Overnight at Arusha Hotel. (BB)
DAY 13: ARUSHA – NGORONGORO NATIONAL PARK
Depart Arusha drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend down the steep walls of the
caldera for a Half-day of game viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. Overnight at
Ngorongoro wildlife lodge (FB)
DAY 14: NGORONGORO
Breakfast and then descend down the steep walls of the caldera for another Half-day of game
viewing in the Ngorongoro National Park. The Park is a paradise of woodlands and lakes that
provide for abundant wildlife. Gazelle, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest as well as big cats,
particularly the black manned lion, leopards and hyena. A multitude of birds including flamingos
are sighted regularly. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro crater has been
called a Garden of Eden. Overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge (FB)
DAY 15: NGORONGORO - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for the Serengeti National Park to arrive in time
for lunch, afternoon game drive within Serengeti with game viewing with a chance of seeing
leopards, cheetahs and other numerous plains animals which are common here. Overnight at
Serenora wildlife Lodge (FB)
DAY 16: SERENGETI
Full day in Serengeti with game drives at 0630 hrs and 1600 hrs to give you an opportunity to
explore this world famous park. The great plains of Serengeti are where endless streams of
wildebeest and zebra pour south towards Ngorongoro or north towards the Masai Mara. Our
game drives will cover the varied habitats and eco-systems of Serengeti. Overnight at
Serenora wildlife Lodge (FB)
DAY 17: SERENGETI - LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Depart Serengeti after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes and drive to Lake Manyara via Ol Duvai
Gorge, the site of the remains of prehistoric man for a visit to the museum and a short lecture.
Proceed southwards via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge /
Similar in mid afternoon. At 1600 hrs, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake
Manyara National Park is situated spectacularly between the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and
Lake Manyara. The most famous spectacle is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen
along branches of Acacia trees. Overnight at L.Manyara Hotel (FB)
DAY 18: DEPARTURE
Depart Lake Manyara after breakfast and drive back to Arusha. Early lunch at the Impala Hotel
followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time to catch your international flight
back home

Prices exclude:
Airfares, entry visas and airport taxes, all personal expenditure such as tips, telephone calls,
laundry and drinks. For single rooms, a supplement needs to be paid.
Please note that Gorilla viewing is subject to availability of permits, which are limited and
each costs $500 therefore any gorilla permits required should be purchased at the time of
booking. However it’s recommended that you book your permits while in advance starting
from 2 years, one year or at least 6 months to ensure that you get the permits on your
desired dates. Gorilla viewing can be done in both Bwindi in Uganda and Parc National des
Volcans (PNV) in Rwanda.
Clients will be using 4WD Vehicle including Land cruisers and Minibuses with open
roof/hatches and enough leg room as well as guaranteed window seats.
All clients will be escorted by our experienced Guides/Drivers who are able to provide a
cheerful, caring and attentive service to our clients. All our guides are trained and have deep
knowledge of all routes, conditions, local attraction and their ability to spot animals and birds
is outstanding.
