As part of Earth Day activities we surveyed students and other people near our rural college and asked them 20 questions relating to the environment.

12. 10. How many acres of forests worldwide are lost in a single day? For this question the correct answer is about 90,000 acres per day. We counted it as a “close guess” if the answer was +/- 30,000 acres
